At the Association for Universal Reiki Awakening, our services are designed to support both individual healing and the cultivation of a shared spiritual field. Our offerings are intentionally simple, accessible, and grounded in the heart of traditional Usui Reiki practice. Each service is an invitation to deepen your connection to Reiki and to participate in the awakening of collective healing. All services are guided by humility, presence, and alignment with Reiki. Whether you join us for healing, training, or community connection, you become part of a family of awakening.

All services are free of charge. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page with your request.

In-Person Training & Immersive Retreats

The transmission of Usui Reiki Ryoho traditionally relies on direct, face-to-face instruction. Our retreats and weekend workshops are designed to remove modern distractions, allowing students to focus entirely on the core components of the practice:

  • Clear historical context and study of the Precepts.

  • Direct instruction in traditional Usui Reiki techniques and meditations.

  • Guided, supervised hands-on practice in a supportive group environment.

  • Receive traditional Reiju (blessings/attunements) in person.

If you would like to host an in-person training (Shoden, Okuden, and/or Shinpiden) or immersive Reiki retreat, please contact Daniel using the form below or on the Contact page.

Shinpiden (Teacher Level) Certification

Preserving the Lineage for Future Generations. The transition from practitioner to teacher is a significant responsibility. The Shinpiden level is not merely an advanced course, but a formal commitment to holding space for others and maintaining the accuracy of the teachings.

  • Curriculum Focus: Instruction on the mechanics of passing Reiju, structuring comprehensive curricula for Shoden and Okuden levels, and cultivating the personal discipline required of a lineage teacher.

  • Prerequisites: Applicants must provide proof of completion for both Shoden (Level 1) and Okuden (Level 2) training, alongside a demonstrated commitment to daily practice.

Free Usui Reiki Training (Levels 1-3)

We offer free training in Usui Reiki Ryoho for all levels, honoring the tradition that Reiki is a gift meant to be shared.

How it works: Students who wish to receive training simply agree to host the class in their home or an appropriate rented space and invite a minimum of 2–3 acquaintances and a maximum of 4-5 acquaintances who are also interested and ready. All levels are free of charge, and donations are welcome. This approach keeps training accessible, community‑based, and aligned with the spirit of service.

  • Level 1 (Shoden) is open to everyone.

  • Levels 2 and 3 (Okuden and Shinpiden) are also free, but students are selected from Shoden graduates by Daniel based on their readiness and dedication to the practice.

  • Daniel is located in Chicago, but is happy to travel to offer Usui Reiki Ryoho training.
